What Are You Feeding Your Hunger?

O God, you are my God; My soul thirsts for you;
(Psalm 63:1)

Henry Blackaby says we know God is active a person’s life because they’re hungry for God. In that hunger, they devour all the spiritual food they can get. As they feast on God food, they become loving, powerful, and confident—even through hard times. This will become so evident in their lives, everyone will see Jesus in them.
Look into your heart and ask yourself if you’re truly hungry for God. Or are you content being full of yourself, your pride, and your hunger for excess money, food, and pleasure? If so, you’re feeding yourself earth-food, which won’t give life, love, confidence, or the strength to handle tough situations.
