For there is one God.
(Timothy 2:5)
I doubt any two people have exactly the same perception of God. As I progress through life, my perception of God changes. Does that mean God changed?
What’s the value of bickering? We haven’t changed who God is.
It’s hard enough if you and I disagree about who God is. But when each of us adamantly insists we’re right, we’re calling our gods into the ring with us. Now we have a war of the gods. My god versus your god. Scary thought.
Let God decide who or what is right. He’s going to win in the end anyway. Meanwhile, you and I can love and respect each other, even when we disagree.
