A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest— then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber.
Nothing will come easy that’s worth fighting for. This can be from our relationship with God to our daily work. Each day could be our last day and we must work hard on whatever is in front of us, from working on ourselves, to raking leaves God gives us strength and endurance to accomplish whatever we face. Dig deep into ourselves and give all we got to whatever is in front of us. It’s mentioned in many verses through Proverbs that the outcome of being lazy isn’t too pleasant.
Lord I’m thankful for the energy I get daily and trust that you provide whatever resources we need to execute your plan.
