“For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.”
In our recent board meeting, we discussed that we’re reaping a rich harvest today in some specific areas in the company because of what we intentionally sowed in 2015. We recognized we’ve had some gains as well as losses, but overall the harvest has been tremendous.
You can’t control the outcome of your harvest, but you can control what you sow today. Sowing the right seeds in the right places takes faith and hard work, but the reward is so worth it. Psalm 126:5 says “Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.”
The law of sowing and reaping never fails. For every relationship, for every job, and for every process there are seasons of sowing and reaping. Sow today for the harvest you want to reap tomorrow, next week, or five years from now.
Who are you spending your time with? Are you investing in your critical relationships? What infrastructure are you building in your business that you hope to get a return on later?
What you do right now matters. Now is the time to sow.
