“Look at you now!” they yelled at him.
“You said you were going to destroy the Temple
and rebuild it in three days. Well then, if you are the Son of God,
save yourself and come down from the cross!”
When I’m reading this passage, I get angry about the way Jesus was treated. The way he was beaten and publicly mocked. The people around Jesus probably couldn’t see the master plan but there certainly was one in place. Just three days later, Jesus was back and the world would be changed forever.
So much happened but what stands out to me this time is that God had a plan. The people close to Jesus didn’t know the plan but it was a plan that would forever change the world.
In my life, I am always facing things bigger than myself. While I don’t always see what God’s plan is, I have to choose to trust him and give it to him.
He always has a plan.
