Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this age,
against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
I’ve been thinking about the Armor of God. The armor protects us from the real enemy. It won’t protect us from a pseudo enemy, so it’s important to identify our true enemy. We think our enemy is a person. Our enemy wants to side-track us and get us to fight each other. Our true enemies are spiritual forces and beings we can’t see with our eyes, but we know they’re there.
When we recognize our real enemy and the armor God provides, we can stand in the truth, righteousness, and love, regardless of what’s coming at us.
