Go to the ant, O sluggard;
consider her ways, and be wise.
Without having any chief,
officer, or ruler,
she prepares her bread in summer
and gathers her food in harvest.”
The ant was designed with a God-given set of instincts that drive the outcome of her behavior and discipline.
But we’re the same, designed by an all-powerful God to bring glory to God, to seek him in what we do and serve his kingdom. Being like an ant in my daily life is as simple as just serving God in all I do.
Keeping my commitments, humbly seeking feedback on how I’m doing and learning everything I can on how to fulfill my God given purpose.
Having the simple faith of an ant that what God placed me on the earth to do is perfect and just right for me.
Lord, help me be an ant for your kingdom.
