They love the Lord’s teachings, and they think about those teachings day and night. They are strong, like a tree planted by a river. The tree produces fruit in season, and its leaves don’t die. Everything they do will succeed.
(Psalm 1:2, 3)
As a student of the Word, I love its teachings. I immerse myself in it and allow its teachings to reach deep into my soul. I try them, prove them, and meditate on them during the day and when I wake in the night. I live in them and learn new ways to apply them. It becomes bigger than life itself.
It makes me strong like a well-nourished tree. As a result of God’s teachings, I produce fruit that surprises even me. As I apply God’s principles to all that I do, everything succeeds. And God is glorified.
