My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life (life in all its fullness).
(John 10: 10)
God doesn’t intend for our circumstances to deplete us and deprive us of life. God wants us to have a full life. . . now! We fool ourselves to think that once we reach a certain goal, then we’ll enjoy life. God doesn’t say that. He wants us to experience life in all its fullness. Every bit of life right now.
If we aren’t experiencing a satisfying life, He tells us what to do about it:
Ask and it will be given to you. . . everyone who asks receives.
(Matthew 7: 7, 8)
If we can’t ask God to bless what we’re doing, then we’d better start doing something else. God doesn’t want us to waste our lives. We just need to ask. And ask specifically. If we want specific answers, we need to make specific requests. Then God orchestrates events around our lives and gives us those only God moments.
