“There is a path before each person that seems right,
but it ends in death.”
I might say, “God led me,” just because I took the path in front of me. But that doesn’t mean God actually led me. Not every path in front of me that looks right is right. That’s like driving along a road because it’s there but I don’t actually know if I’m on the road I’m supposed to be on.
God leads us by giving us a direction. He doesn’t always tell us the specifics about the destination but he gives us the direction and the next step we need to take to get there. Once we know which direction to go, then he will show us what path to take. God promises to guide us, so when we spend time with him each day, he gives us our directions. Spending time with other wisdom-seeking believers also helps us find and take God’s path.
