Listen to Your Conscience

Holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith.
(1 Timothy 1:19)

I know folks who silence their conscience because the cost is too high. They’ll always pay an even higher price later. Some of the executives at Enron ignored their conscience and ended up in prison.

It starts in small ways. A temptation to lie or hold ill will toward a coworker, friend, or family member.

If we hold to our faith and a good conscience we’ll live a great life, it might not always be the most profitable decision at times. We’ll finish well at the end of our lives and hear God say well done.

Father, I pray for guidance in my life help me to never go against my conscience and better judgment.
