Be Bold with Your Gifts

“And the special gift of ministry you received
when I laid hands on you and prayed—keep that ablaze!
God doesn’t want us to be shy with his gifts,
but bold and loving and sensible.

II Timothy
1:6-7

Timothy was a young leader whom Paul mentored. Paul encouraged Timothy to keep his special gift of ministry on fire and not holding anything back.

God doesn’t want you to hold back from using the gifts he’s given you. He wants you to fully experience your true potential, using what he created in you to bless the world around you. What are your gifts? He wants you to express them boldly (with confidence), lovingly (not demanding or unethical) and sensibly (using practical, common sense, not stupidly).

Be bold with your gifts so everyone is blessed.
