Yet somehow I knew Jesus was God’s Son. When I came to God, I wanted him for a Father. But I didn’t want Jesus. I somehow knew that God was alive and real and so was Jesus. It all came down to whether I would accept him.
I believe I have a good heart and want to serve people and make a difference. But sometimes I’m so self-focused, I’m not aware of other people’s feelings. So unless I’m leading the dance, I step on their toes.
We have to be connected to a life giving source or we will burn ourselves out with the stresses of life and work. When I find myself exhausted and stressed out mentally I have to ask myself, What is my feeding source for my soul?
I try to practice a stress free life by working hard and having good ethics and morals and living an obedient life. I figure if stuff goes wrong after I have given my best effort then it must be Gods will and there must be something else he wants me to gain from the experience.
I tell people my hobby is accumulating wisdom. I can use wisdom to make me money. Or I can use money to open greater opportunities to accumulate wisdom.
